About a month ago we were checking an old Televes TV system in one of the hotels in my area.
After taking a look at the TV system it came out that some of the modules aren't working anymore and some of the channel subscription are not worth the extra amount to buy a replacement module. The cable have been redone by numerous technicians over the years and no documentation was made. It took a while to know which cable goes to where.
The owner wanted a new system and thus they ordered some WISI items one OV50 and six OV38, this will only give 12 TV channels, each channel with stereo audio as the OV38 is a dual channel module.

WISI OV50 AND WISI OV38 |
The OV50 has two identical RF inputs to accommodate the modules from the each side, then there is a connection for RF which you then connect ot the AMP IN if you are going to use the built signal booster in the OV 50 unit. AMP OUT goes to your RF distributor which then goes to the room TVs. Setting up the radio frequencies on each modules is easy. You just have to choose which channel ( channel A or channel B) you are going to set to which frequencies. This can all be done by using the display and buttons on the front of each modules.
This time we labeled all the cables and documented the work we did so that it will be easier for the next guy who is going to check the tv system after us.
The AV source of the modules are from anconnected to 10 Astro B-yond decoders and 2 channels from aerial decoders.

STACKED ASTRO DECODERS |
I would've preferred to put each unit in a shelf and even offered to fabricate it since those weren't available but my superior insisted that stacking the units like this would be just fine. At least It looked neater than the older set up.
.... more to come time to go make a living again....
