After numerous events, not enough crew and some fuzzy clients, and no replacement in sight, I decided to start replacing the faulty switches on our SHURE SLX2s. Using wired mics is one thing but having a lot of working wireless mics on hand save a bucket full of trouble and energy.
I made a video of it so that who ever needs to do the same can have some sort of a simple straight forward reference on how to do it. Also, it's for the rest of the people in my crew so that they can do it themselves and not have to wait on me to do it. One thing though, you need to know how to solder.
Here is the video.
Maybe I'll start doing videos for all the meager things that needs to be done, so if anyone asks then I can just point them towards the video links.
Next up, I'm thinking of replacing the LCD display on four of XTA processors.... but that would be for another day.
Have a great day.
